we’re heading home this weekend for a week. well be meeting suppliers and meeting up our friends too. this will be our final setting outs for the wedding preparations. time passes by really fast and we really never realize that its three months away..

Our Engagement Encounter…

Im still sleepy… if theres no deadline for a design presentation id rather spend my Monday on my bed. Our week was sooo long .. actually theres no real weekend because we have spent it with 35 other pairs for a preparation course for soon-to-be-married couples on a marriage preparation retreat.

Oh well after bathing and getting dress for work Jing just told me she cant go to work today… as i have Taken a bath already my sleepy head was gone and i have no choice but to go to work because actually my boss ask me to work on weekend due to that tight deadline but i told him i really cant because of the E-weekend that was pre planned and we have spent few hundredbucks for that.

it was such an experience. if you have watched the Mandy Moore movie Licensed to Wed it was something like that… hmm yeah kinda.

Right after work last Friday we need to be off at 6pm because the Seminary where we are goin is about 30 minutes train ride and another 15minutes drive. it was totally shut off from a typical busy districts of Singapore. so after we arrived and registered i thought it was sleeping time since it was around 8pm already and they have handed us the beddings and room keys.. (yes youre right- the women are staying on the 3rd storey while their fiance on the 2nd storey) i was about to change to my boxers when the bell rang. i ask my room mate whats that about… he said the bell means we should gather at the seminar hall together with our partners.

Talk.. couples response by writing whats our take on the subject matter that has been discussed. its tiring and it really hurt when your are writing every after 30 minutes. Good thing the reverend father facilitator is a comic. he really can deliver that punchline pretty well. past 11pm and the talk was finished we are now allowed to sleep separately of course and they remind us that the morning prayer and Saturdays mass will be at 745am so we need to be awake at 630.

Saturday was another long day after each and every talk there will be a couples dialogue where you will discussed everything you expect and you dont expect on your married life. how to handle it and everything about tackling challenges in a marriage. for those friends whos getting married soon i dont want to tell you the details so i wont pre-empt the experience.

(beware guys.. if youre not really into it dont dare enter and play.. theres a couple who didnt finish the EE i guess one of them is not yet committed for the lifelong commitment.., )

Sunday was a bit relaxed, but the mass was very long due to the palm Sunday celebration… Honestly i fell asleep during the Gospel. after the mass everything is sad because after three days we will say goodbye to those people we meet. our room mates who we share stories about wedding preparation. Our presenter who really impart us with good experiences on married life and also for the really natural wit of Reverend Clifford.

how i wish today isnt Monday…

Wedding Update…

Ten more months to go.. time flies just like that. still a lot of things popping up out of nowhere. Details… Details… and more details. Gown design is done.. still a bit of tweaking and refinement for the fabric… But i should say this.. all my Brides maid should have there Measurement taken na sana before April.. kaya Please sana taken earlier so it wont be a very busy year end for the couturier. Im sending the emails to you all.hmmm.. yeah the shortage of Flower girls makes us a little bit creative.. lets see if it works… moreover those proofreading of names. ill let dave do that… and hopefully we can get the invitation design done by end of March.Gummi please do it now!!!!!!! see yah ill keep you posted..
